Recently I have not been able to burn cd's with microsoft media player. I switched back to media player 10 but it still will not recognize the burner. I can burn cd's with Roxio or Zune's player. I also have a Zune HD and I can't sync with the media player either, it says no device shown or something like that. I have other software problems and my machine is 5 years old Gateway 506gr with 2.5 gigs of memory and I am wondering if a reformat would help as I have put a lot of utility programs on and uninstalled a lot of them over the last few years.
