Bill Cohane gave a correct and elegant answer, but, unless I misunderstood
the question, there is a far simpler method, I believe.

When in the device manager list, get your highlight on the top entry
("Computer") and simply go to your numeric keypad and press the asterisk (*)
key. This will expand ALL entries below the top level.

This is, I believe, a standard windows keystroke, usable to "expand all" in
all explorer-type windows.
