Knowing that my Win98 does not need autoexcec.bat is the reason I deleted
paths. Programs I installed inserted paths in autoexec.bat. (These were
Windows, and not DOS programs.) Question is whether I needed these paths
programs installed. As I stated, computer seems to get along without
them.
