You can get a power Point viewer only program from Microsoft at no cost.

I get many .pps files from friends, but I cannot open them as I do not have
the Microsoft PowerPoint program. Do I have to get this program or there
another way to open these files.

My computer is fairly powerful running with Windows XP, but it came equipped
with WordPerfect.
