Hi All:
Just wanted to say thank you for those that gave suggestions for
solutions to my .avi file dilema. I finally got rid of it so decided to
write and tell how so if anyone else comes up with the same problem
they could try this solution. This was a file I got from Kazaa and did
not show a virus. The file it turns out was connecting itself to the
modem and when I disconnected the modem I was able to delete it. Sure
tried many other ways that did not work and the only good thing I can
say about that is I sure learned a lot. It is one thing to read about
something but totally another by doing it. This is a great list thanks
for having it and to all the participants happy computing
Maria
I have an .avi file on my xp home computer and it will not delete. It
keeps saying it is being used by another program or person and to close
any programs that may be using it and try again. There are no programs
open that I could see that it would be using.
Appreciate any
help you could give me.
