If you want to change them all to just one or two programs, then have a
look in those programs options/settings to see if there's a facility to
select associated file types.

Otherwise, I can't see how you could change associations to many different
programs other than manually. Even if there was a piece of software to do
this, you'd still have to browse to each different program .exe to select
it, so it wouldn't really achieve much. It's going to be laborious,
whichever way you do it, methinks.

I've always found the old Winfile.exe (dunno what OS you have) the quickest
and easiest way to change associations.  Maybe XP has come up with a better
alternative.
