To further explain why the option you are looking for is removed is that is is required by SUN due to a copyright issue focused on the Java Virtual Machine.

What they are saying is that there will no longer be any Microsoft Java VM built-in inside the Windows/IE.  So, these options are and will not be available in new and future version of the IE.  Instead, SUN will provide its Java Runtime Plug-in solution for Microsoft Windows systems.
