In general you should not have more than one AV program active at the same
time.
Most of the "brand name" AV programs warn against this.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Removing old anti-virus programs?

My Norton updates run out as of today and I'll be installing AVG. I seem to
remember something about needing to remove old anti-virus programs before
installing a new one--but I don't see anything at Grisoft to confirm that.
Should I take out the Norton first?
