Going nuts with this one, folks. I am working on an XP home edition pc that
launchs on startup a windows explorer (or whatever it is called these days)
window that is viewing the c:\windows\system folder. This occurs for each
of the four users on the pc. So far I have checked the following:

* startup group for each users account, all users, and default user (yes, I
am viewing
   hidden files and folders)
* HKCU and HKLM run keys
* msconfig

In addition, I have also tried resetting folder views and even searched the
registry for the path to this folder to no avail. What am I missing? Any
suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

George
