I deleted my logos.sys.bak, logos.bak and logow.sys.bak, logow.bak files
by mistake. I still have the logo.sys.bak and logo.bak. When my
computer should have Wait For Shutdown, mine looks like colored burlap.
The same is true for OK to turn Off. I know the original screens are
somewhere, because after I run scan disk or defrag or install something
new, the screens will be there when I turn off the computer. But the
next time I turn it off, the burlap screens are back. I originally had
Windows 95 but upgraded to Windows 98. I have copied new logos.sys and
logow.sys, but it still won't work. I like to change these screens with
themes, but when a new set of logos are included and I click on it, I
get a message that it can't find some files and the bak is missing. How
can I restore this? I have been told to insert the Windows 98 disk, but
I can't find logow.sys.bak or logos.sys.bak on it. I hope someone can
help me. Thank you. Nancy
