I think that using of "Bcc:" field (instead of "Cc:") was already
mentioned here. Like the "Cc:" field it is very economical as your e-mail
program sends only one copy which then spreads to all recipients by
the various mail servers.
The advantage over "Cc:" is privacy, as people do not see the list of
recipients. The bad thing is that you cannot customize the message
that way.

If you wish to customize your messages, I don't know how to do it in
Outlook Express, but I am using Pegasus (http://www.pmail.com),
which I like very much, and it can easely use a template and a data file
to send customized messages to a list of recipients (the option is called
"mail merge".
