Hi Alan,

Installing Firefox didn't "take out" IE , it just set itself as Default
browser.
IE is still there and can be used as needed.

Firefox does have options -many of them ,including download location for
downloads.
It's just a matter of exploring the settings.
Open Firefox > Tools > Options > General tab > Either tick "Save files to"
and select a specific folder
or tick "Always ask me where to save files". The last one will give you the
option to save to a different location
each time you download something. You decide.

HTH
Peter E.

Subject: [PCSOFT] browser?

I'm running XPpro sp3 & Internet explorer as a browser. I installed Firefox
& it took out IE !!
I want to use something other than Firefox for downloads. I can't find
their downloads, so I used to use IE until they took over. Is there any
other dependable browser available that will let me have options??
