I used the Registry Monitoring software to discover two keys that are
modified when the default printer is changed on a windows 95 machine they are:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\control\Print\Printers\Panasonic]
"Status"=dword:00000000
"Attributes"=dword:00000051

The above values depend on the configuration of the machine you are using and

[HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers]
"Default"="Panasonic"

of course the default name has to be that of the printer.

You also need to include the name of the default printer in the wi.ini file
as:

[windows]
load=
run=
NullPort=None
device=Panasonic,PANSON24,\\TIGER\Pana1
Spooler=yes

Then when you reboot the computer it will reset the default printer back to
the Panasonic. To do this in the login script you copy the win.ini file
into the c:\windows directory and use a ".reg" file to load the registry
entries.
