Here are the possibilities for the extension .art

ART Xara Studio drawing
ART Canon Crayola art
ART Clip Art
ART Ray Tracer file
ART First Publisher Raster graphic
ART AOL Image file compressed using the Johson-Grace compression algorithm
It's likely that these are AOL images, and the usual answer is to have them
sent in a different format, 'though I noticed that IE 5.5 now supports this
format.

I am trying again for help with Microsoft Word 2000.  I used to be able to
copy/paste images to a Word Document.  Now I can't do that anymore.
Neither can I capture and drag it to the document.  This only occurs with
ART
images.
