You gave them open season by clicking on unsubscribe. Now they know you're a live one. Soon enough you will get even more of that stuff. You should never open that kind of mail, and under no circumstances ever respond with the idea that they will actually unsubscribe you to anything. More likely that they'll cause you to be subscribed to even more. At this point you'd be wise to abandon the e-mail address and start over with the same ID at a different provider.
