Hi:
I am running Netscape Communicator 4.79 and
use Netscape Messenger for my mail. The system
is running Windows 95 on an AMD K6II/350 with 64MB
RAM and a 10 G harddrive.
While rading mail, every once in a while, Netscape
pops up a window saying"This program has performed
an illegal operation and will be shutdown." and if
I look at details, it says something about a page
fault by Shell32.DLL(?) and a whole bunch of numbers.
I have no choice but to shut it down and no way of
looking at the message that caused this error messge.
Everytime I try to look at the message, the result is
the same - a forced shut down?
What causes this? How can I prevent it? Is there a way
to see what the offending message says?
Thanks for your help.
Regards
