You may have to make some changes in the list server settings. There are
many different kinds of list servers out there, and each one has a different
set of rules.

By default, you can expect to receive every email from Yahoo, Topica,
Smartgroups, or one of the other major servers.

This is not necessarily the case with Majordomo or Listproc, or a number of
other servers.

When you signed up for the group, you may have received a text message
giving instructions for changing the settingsd. If you don't have it any
more, then I would suggest that you contact the owner of the newsgroup and
ask for guidance.
