Frequently, while printing a Web page, I get the "CLOSE/IGNORE" dialog
box; "IGNORE" is ignored, and eventually the "This program has performed
an illegal action" dialog box appears, (with "close" the only choice). The
detail message is the following:
NETSCAPE caused a general protection fault
in module HPFCPS09.DLL at 0005:00002606.
[snip]
(If anyone wants the contents of the registers, the stack dump and CS:EIP
(whatever that is), I've saved that too.)
After I close Netscape, I am still unable to print from any program,
because "the printer is still printing." In order to print again, I have
to restart the PC. If I return to the same URL, I usually generate the
same GPF.
I am using Netscape Communicator 4.73, under Win98SE on a P200MMX with
128MB of RAM. The printer is an HP Deskjet 820CXi, using driver HP DeskJet
820C Series v8.5.
Please help.
