Running a clean install of Windows98se I am having a high usage of Kernel32
as shown by Sysmon ranging in the high 80% and up. The "Sysinternals"
program is showing Kernel32 to be running GetDiskInfo C,D,E,F,G (my
partitions) second by second, minute by minute without stop. This would
apparently be the reason for the high Kernel32 usage. Does anyone know why
this is running and how can it be stopped? This is causing some games such
as Grand Prix3 running in a DOS mode to freeze the computer.
Input would be greatly appreciated.
