MY  QUESTIONS:
(1) Would the same results be achieved if I donot restore the registry and chose instead to use a utility as Winmag's REGISTRY RIPPER to clean up the registry from the clutters left behind by each uninstalled program?

(2) If I restore - say - a 3 month old registry ... won't I loose the recently installed stuff and thus forcing me to reinstall?
