Larry, there could be various reasons but for starters, while in Word 2000, click on TOOLS, OPTIONS, PRINT
Under Printing Options check allow A4/Letter paper resizing
Under Include with document check drawing objects
Under Options for current document only - nothing checked
Default tray should say use printer settings. There are other things to look at if that doesn't work. Or if you have the Word 2000 CD, you could uninstall Word and then reinstall. Also, when you tell the document to print, make sure that your printer is showing in the box.
