I am having problems with my printer which is a Lexmark Z611 and Word Perfect 10. Occasionally after finishing a project and sending it to the printer nothing happens as far as the printer. I will get the words "not responding" in WP. The only thing I can do is to end the project and therefore lose my work. Size does not seem to matter. I do have "backups" on my bigger work. I have used WP for 14 years and really do like it.  I have been trying Open Office and this never happens, but I hate to have to learn a new program. I do like what I see so far with OO though. 
I am using Windows XP with a 4 1/2 years old computer. I was wondering if I should re-install the WP software or does anyone have any ideas. I had thought of upgrading to a newer version of WP, but I am wondering if I should just start on OO. Any suggestions?
