I have Mplayer, CDplayer, Wmplayer, RVplayer, and
QuickTimeplayer...on my system. (I hate them all too.)
Maybe the "player.exe" that's referred to in the error
message is a generic word used by Microsoft to indicate
that you do not have a properly configured "player"
program. Sort of like when Windows mentions "program.exe"
in some rather cryptic error messages.
