I have MSN as my homepage, and also have a .NET Passport so that I can modify my homepage. I'm running WinXP-Pro, have a router and cable connection, and use Norton's firewall software. .NET Passport requires a password. Too often, when I try to connect to MSN I get a message that I have made too many improper attempts to log on and so must wait before trying again. Yet, I personally have made NO attempts to log on. MS support was of no help. They told me to change my password, but that didn't fix anything.

My conclusion is that either there is a program on my computer that tries to log on (and I doubt this) or there is a problem at the MS end. Any ideas?
