I to keep having a problem with IE 5.5 crashing or freezing. I have Windows
98. Recently had to install IE 5.5 after Inoculate anti virus found &
removed kak worm virus. It has frozen 6 times so far when I am clicking onto
a link from an email. Is this a "bug" within IE 5.5? Is there a repair or
update for this? 1 other question having to do with Inoculate. Is there a
way to disable when I run scandisk or when I defrag or even when installing
software, etc... By the way I really did not want to install 5.5 but could
not find IE 5 which I had been using. Any help appreciated.

Subject: [PCSOFT] IE 5.5 Crashing
I have a PC running Win 2000 and IE 5.5 which always seems to crash. I can
rarely go for longer than twenty minutes and it crashes, usually while I am
scrolling, wither with the wheel or the scroll bar. I have tried the latest
graphics drivers, and update IE whenever I can, but I can't get rid of it.
Any general suggestions that I should consider? Wouldn't a memory problem
also effect Netscape, OE, etc? I apologize in advance for the vague and
generic qualities of this question. Thank you.
