Brian
got to the folder with the .pst file right click and check the properties
and see if it marked as read only office 2000 sometimes saves the file as
read only and if so it can't be imported into a clean install, just uncheck
the file and them import

Subject: [PCSOFT] Reintalling/Restoring MS Outlook
Good morning,
First, thanks to both Anthony and Jun for their suggestions/comments
about
my request to hook up two printers to one computer. Nothing decided yet.
Second, over the weekend I formatted my HD and reinstalled Win 98SE.
Before doing so I backed up my .pst file used by MS Outlook 2000. Now,
after having installed Outlook, I can't open the .pst file although Outlook
sees it as well as the (default?) outlook.pst and archive.pst.
Do I need to make some changes to the Registry so that Outlook
"knows"
where to look for my .pst file?
Thanks in advance for your help.
