I have a small NT server with PI-233, 64 RAM, 4GB HDD and the workstation is
PII-300 with 32RAM.

While connecting to the Server it takes long time, and some times I do not
see the server name in my Network Nurbeurhoods.

Is there any option or utilities which will speed up the client to connect
to the NT serve, I am using NT version 4.0 and the client is Win98

     Hello:

It seems your nt server was setup as stand alone server.

What you need to do is :

Edit your c:\winnt\systems32\etc\host file and add the other pc with its
ip
    address.

And you need to share your drives in order to access them. " you are in
    peer to peer mode"

If your server was setup as domain controller,
Then you need to go to network applete in control panle in your
workstation
   and join the domain.

                                     Regards
