I think the the problem is not in your Outlook, becuase it is just a email
client which receives the pending messages from your mail server (ISP), the
porblem can be from your mail server, or if you receive multiple messages
only from certain email addresses [like some times PC-NEWBIE used to send
multiple messages].

Make sure when you are sending and receiving mails the client is working
without any error messages, some times if the download of messages are not
sucessfuly completed when you dial again the same message will come to you
again.
