Susan (and all other interested parties.....)

The name of the folder is TEMP (less than 8 characters.)
The actual string is SET TEMP = E:\TEMP
I guess I should have put that in the original message
instead of a generic representation, but the name and
pathing shouldn't matter. <grin> <shrug>

The reason for moving it?
I want to get it off the C:> drive to help cut down on the
fragmentation of C:.  I use several apps that make extensive
use of the temp folder.  So..... like moving the swap file
to it's own drive, I want to move the temp folder to IT'S
own drive.

How do I know it's not working?
the old C:\WINDOWS\TEMP keeps filling up with trash
and the new E:\TEMP remains empty.

I don't have the ENVIRONMENT key either.
