You can try this: if you are using OE6, you can copy over your messages by
doing the following:
In oe6, you should export your account settings by doing first going into
tools and accounts. under email, select export for your email account and
specify the folder you want to export it to. Next, in oe6, go into file and
export messages. you will get a messages saying that the funtion will
export messages to outlook or exchange. hit ok and repeat the same action
with your address book (ie, export address book) then exit oe6. Next you
can go into outlook. if you are setting it up for the first time, it will
ask you if you want if you want to import your messages. hit ok. if you do
not get prompted for this, you can go ahead and import them yourself by
going into import/export and selecting email and addresses. After hitting
next, you will receive a list of options. oe6 is not listed in there, but
it seems to work if you select oe4,or 5. You will see the progress bar
(hopefully) move as your addresses and messages are being copied over.
good luck
