You could try the autoexec.bat to see if there is a set blaster command (or
something similar) that sets the volume to a pre-determined level. If
there were, it would reset your volume to the same setting at boot-up.

Subject: Problems with Volume

This isn't really a life or death situation, but it is annoying
nontheless. Whenever I start up my computer, the wav sounds are muted.
 So,
each time I have to go into Volume Control and turn up the wav sounds. Is
there a way I can fix the volume control so that it does not mute the wav
sounds everytime I boot up? I've tried and tried but can't figure it out.

I'm running a 150mhz pentium under win95. My sound card is an ESS
Audiodrive.

Thanks in advance,

Rogelio Decasa, Jr.
