Hav had seen this problen. Reason was that on one computer was domain name
diffferent from others in LAN. And also not all LAN computer names in hosts
file.
When that computer looks others in LAN it cant find its fully host name and
asks for DNS.
As result gateway computer atteptes ask name form ISPs DNS and launches
dailup.
