If you return to original Internet Explorer configuration, and for you
that is IE3, you could install IE4 over IE3, but where will you get IE4?
You can reinstall IE5, but you may not get everything back. You may have
to go to Microsoft's website and download updates to IE5. If you
reinstall IE5 from Microsoft's website you will get IE5.01. There have
been reports of problems with IE5.01. You cannot obtain IE5 at
Microsoft's website, but some others, such as Juno, include IE5 in their
software. I do not think uninstalling and reinstalling IE will solve your
freeze-up problems. If you wish this list to help on your freeze-up
problems it would help if you were more specific. When exactly do the
freeze-ups occur? What are the error messages? Keep a log and report
back.
