I really don't know much about this stuff - so i'm counting on some of you
professionals to tell me if my idea makes any sense.

I have a video ( 2 hours ) that needs to be sent out to many people on cd.
Instead of using dvd, which is expensive and not everyone has a dvd drive,
I figured i would go with divx. I would compress the video into divx with
some free utility on the net, I was told this would then fit onto a cd-rom,
i can then make as many copies that i need at home with my cd burner. The
only problem i can think of is people might not have a way to play divx. So
i will put a free player on the cd that they can install if they would
like. How does this sound?
