Westly,

Boot from a DOS disk (Windows DOS will do) and try FDISK /MBR .
This restores the original Master Boot Record which Linux replaced with it's
own version.
After doing this, reboot and see if the Linux boot start goes away.  If it
does you should then be able to FDISK normally, format if needed, and
install Windows.

Hi,

I have fdisk a hard drive, a 40 gb hard drive, into
three partition, one of 20, and the other two in ten
gb. I install the linux on two partitions.
I want to remove the linux, so I fdisk the hard drive
again, but I have install a second hard drive in the
computer.
When I fdisk the hard drive, and install Windows 2000
on the hard drive, when I reboot the computer for the
second phase of the installation of Windows 2000, I
did not see the boot installation of 2000, but I saw
the boot startup of the Mandrake-Linux, and it doesn't
now startup Mandrake-Linux at all.

My question is: how could I remove the Mandrake-Linux
of the Primary Hard drive and install Windows 2000 on
the Primary Hard drive?
