This combination of software (AOL 8 and Win ME) seems to be freezing the system regularly. I've run the AOL 8 fix and repair program. I've defragged using Norton Speeddisk. I've run Ad-aware to clean out spyware. I've removed as many other software programs as I can from the Control Panel.

I connect to AOL through a cable modem. System specs: P4, 512Mb RAM.

Does anyone have any experience with or insight into this problem that could be shared?
