Well, I bailed from AOL to MSN as an interim solution before going broadband. It would appear that their conversion program successfully pulled my AOL favorites and address book.

Now for the question: I do not want to be dependent on MSN, or any other ISP for maintaining and accessing favorites and address book. I was told it would be easier to convert these from MSN lists to more generic ones that can be used with any ISP.

So, how do I do that?
