Russ is correct. DCC uses the Dial Up Networking features to make the
connection.
Which means that one PC must act as the server while the other is the
client.
(I suspect that DCC is just the old INTERLNK and INTERSRV with a
fancy new face. <grin>)
But it does serve the purpose of the poster's query --
a cheap method of transfering files.
All that is required is a laplink-type cable which has
a cost of less than $10US.
