I've been trying to switch to a different e-mail client
that offers better control over saving and deleting of e-mails
on the POP server than Netscape, but haven't found one that does that AND
handles HTML e-mail like Netscape does. Eudora and Phoenix both have better
server control but their HTML so far isn't as good.

I've been reading the HTML digest in Netscape, which apears to save
all of the posts in the digest e-mails on the HDD. When I click on one of the
links to a post, the post opens in a new window. I've been trying Eudora
e-mail. When I open the HTML digest e-mail in eudora I get the table of contents,
the links to the posts below that, and all of the posts in text below that.
Clicking on the post links results in an attempt to get the post online at a
URL
like http://cid:16586@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU/.

Is there a way to get Eudora to save the posts on the HDD like Netscape does so the digests in HTML
can be read offline?

Thanks

Tom Corrigan
