Just reinstalled Office 2002 on my Win XP SP-2 machine. When I enter info for a new contact, I generally include the phone number. For local contacts, I've always just entered the 7-digit local phone number, and Outlook would automatically add our local area code, 317. But after this latest reinstall, I find that Outlook adds just a "1" for the "area code." I don't recall whether I mistyped my area code when I was setting up Windows (I reinstalled that only a day earlier), or whether something even more strange is going on. At any rate, I can't get to my personal profile anywhere on the computer where I could check what I've entered for a home phone number, or to check what I may have entered for an area code when I reinstalled Windows.
