I don't have a solution to all of your problems, but there is a suggestion
in case you have not yet tried it. I too have experienced the strange icon
for exe files, but mine was not a trash bin. Although I am not sure what
caused it, the problem was fixed by running the TweakUI repair icon utility.

One suggestion for the Pegasus problem also. Before you re-installed
Pegasus, did you first delete all registry entries for the program? How
about deleting Pegasus specific DLL files from System32? I have seen
problems when bad files, or bad registry entries exist. Re-install does not
always fix them unless the old files and registry entries are first deleted.

Hope this is of some help. Good luck.

Here are some other problems on NT4 Server that I also associate with
the "upgrade" to MSIE 5.01:

1. I have a strange icon associated with .exe files now. It's the empty
trash bin. This is the icon that now displays when an executable has no
icon of its own. It is non-standard, for sure. <g> When I attempt to
change the icon for this in 'File Types', both the 'Edit' and 'Delete'
buttons are grayed-out, and therefore inaccessible. I think the 'Delete'
button *should* be grayed-out for this file type, since it is an important
system file type, but I'm not sure about the 'Edit' button. In any case,
something has modified the icon for this file type. (If anyone know how
to fix that, I'd be grateful, too.)
