Possibilities...

Disable JAVAscript, under EDIT|PREFS|ADVANCED. This will allow you to
continue.

Kill all NetScape tasks by pressing <alt-ctrl-del> once, selecting them
and then clicking END TASK.

If selected sites still won't load, search c:\ for a HOSTS file (not the
HOSTS.SAM file ). If found, rename to HOSTS.BAK

http://help.netscape.com/kb/consumer/19990112-3.html

Create a new Profile, with the Profile Manager in the START|
PROGRAMS|COMMUNICATOR|UTILITIES Program Group.

If nothing loads...
Click EDIT|PREFS|ADVANCED|PROXIES and choose 'direct to Net'.

Q: Problems with Netscape after moving/deleting/uninstalling GetRight
    and similar products...

      If GetRight is moved, deleted, or incorrectly uninstalled, it can
      not update the settings used to integrate into Netscape.
      Netscape then has problems because it can't find the GetRight
files.

      Symptoms are obvious: the browser doesn't ever open any web
      page you type in or select from your bookmarks and always says
      "Done" at the bottom.

      You can do this by hand, the registry settings to remove are:
        [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Netscape\Netscape
        Navigator\Automation Protocols]
        http=     (delete value)
        ftp=     (delete value)

      And the GetRight setting that tells it to do the click monitoring:
        [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Headlight\GetRight\Config]
       WatchBrowser=00000000

    Make a backup of the REGISTRY before editing. See Windows HELP
    and search for information on the REGISTRY.
