When I right-click on the printer icon on my desktop, choose Properties
and select the Security tab, I see permissions for the ICON; permissions for
the printer itself are found by going to Settings|Printers, right-clicking
on the printer object in the window, and selecting Security.
I also note that there's a Win2000 security option to disallow users from
installing printer drivers. If they don't already have the drivers for the
Ricoh on their workstations (and so need to get it from the server when they
want to print), this may be what's blocking them.
