Google finds a lot of stuff on the net about this dodgy 'EndAds' outfit - here's an interesting link:

Subject: [PCSOFT] I Need Help With a Problem
Hello,
I just joined your list re a recommendation from the Computer Lady. I keep getting an annoying pop-up add in the middle of my screen in the guise of a Microsoft Crisis Alert, saying my system is subject to attack. It's address is www.endads.com I've gone to their website to try and remove myself from their list, but it's very confusing and says 'no guarantees'. It must be on some sort of timer, because it pops up about every 15 minutes. I'm running on Windows 2000 P on Internet Explorer. Any help you can give me to finally rid myself of it would be greatly appreciated!!
