Hey,diane.i can tell you that acces isn 't a part of office,it  is on the
same cd-rom of office('97or office 2000).
If jou install "office" than you can see it in your program-files,just like
"word en exel".it  pictogram is like a  purple key.

I'm looking for a good Data Base program to buy that will work with Excel
and Word 2000.

Is Access a Data Base program?  Is it any good?  Isn't it part of
Microsoft 2000?
