Ok, thanks for the reply. But my situation is like this. We have 1
computer laboratory with 40 computer units. The students will log on using
a generic or default "student" username and "student" as password. I have
installed a monitoring software to check the running programs of each
computer (to monitor and avoid any student from installing games on their
computer). My problem is, there are some smart kids who will just kill the
monitoring application by accessing the task manager. I don't want to lock
up the task manager if username is "student" via policy editor because i
might encounter problems wherein I need to manually end a certain program
from running.

If there is no way but to resort to policy editor, Im asking if there is
such an application (w/ password protection) which I could run to enable
task manager again. All the computers are pre-loaded w/ Deep Freeze so for
every restart, the task manager will be disabled again. Thanks!!!
