When I highlight a paragraph to apply some special formatting, instead of applying it only to the paragraph I have highlighted, Word applied it to the entire document. A single UNDO will undo the formatting to the remainder of the document, while leaving the formatting in the highlighted paragraph. Each formatting (underline, bold, etc.) must be applied separately with an UNDO after each one. Is there a setting that will fix this? Why in the world would the software work like this?

Thanks,
Anna Summers
