I have a funny feeling you're going to get a lot of different answers on this one. I use Outlook Express and put things
in my outbox to be mailed automatically the next morning when my husband turns on my computer. When these are received
the time sent is the time I put them in my outbox (the night before). The time received is the time they were received
back at my ISP. I know this is true because my ISP was having problems and sending things thorough with the wrong time
on them. So for me the time out is the time I send it, regardless when it actually goes to the ISP and the time
received is when it's received at the ISP.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Time stamp

Hi all:
Please help a dummy out.
Would some one please tell me where the "time" is stamped on
e-mail?
Is it done at the originating PC; ISP or the receiving ISP; PC?
or any where in between.
Thanks a bunch !
