Peter mentions File-Saver.
Out of curiosity, I had a look at their website. I'd avoid this one for 3
reasons:
1. They beg you to buy before midnight "today Sunday" at a huge
apparent "discount". I've no doubt "today" changes each day you
visit--it's an old sales ploy long discredited. This type of "bait"
advertising is illegal in this country, and I suspect in yours.
2. They knock the opposition's software. Knocking advertising is also
generally discredited as being highly counterproductive.
3. No trial is offered.
They must think their potential customers are pretty dumb. I guess that's
why this product is not well known.
I also note that they vaguely claim their "products" are used by certain
big names. But not necessarily this particular product. One wonders.
These facts would lead me to the inevitable conclusion that they will also
be equally misleading in the description of their own product. If the
product is as good as claimed, they'd surely have no need to resort to such
sneaky tactics.
I've never used the product, so don't know for certain. Which is, I guess,
Peter's reason for asking in the first place.
Sorry Peter, I've never had any use for an undelete (keeping fingers
crossed), so can't help you.
