Go to the Add/Remove programs in the control panel, look for Microsoft
Intenet Explorer and click on it, then click on Add/Remove. A window should
pop up giving you 3 options -
1. Repair IE
2. Add a component
3. Restore a previous configuration
Select "Restore a previous Configuration". This should remove the upgrade.
Now you should be able to install IE 5.5.
